Military Aircraft Services
RUAG provides technical support for the Swiss Air Force's combat aircraft, helicopters, transports and UAVs as well as the German version of the ALPHA JET aircraft which are in use worldwide. In addition to maintenance, we also carry out engineering work on system integration and upgrades, development of hardware and software and even manage whole projects in our role as Prime Contractor.
Our core skills are applied also to the maintenance of subsystems. We hold licences for maintenance in our workshops of a broad range of engines. Once assembly is complete, these are tested in our in-house test houses. We work on other subsystems such as avionics and units, propellers and rotors for various aircraft types.
