Simulators are required to practice firing and movement simultaneously. These can be used to model weapon handling and the impact of weapons in a realistic manner. RUAG has developed laser and radio simulators to practice tactics and firing with all weapons and vehicles. The simulators can either be mounted on the real weapons or are available in the form of replica weapons. The simulators are integrated in a system, meaning that military units can be trained efficiently.
RUAG laser simulators are available either as one-way or as two-way laser systems. The advantage of the two-way laser technology is that this also takes the ballistics of the corresponding weapon into account.
