RUAG International presents simulation & training solutions ensuring effective security operations in complex urban environments at MilSim Asia 2020 during ADECS 2020

The 30-minute presentation, Case Study 1: “Training for Security Operations in Complex Urban Environments” takes place on Tuesday, 4 February 2020.

Urban combat is especially complex, and the need to prepare our armed combat and security forced as realistically and as thoroughly as possible is crucial,” states Jan Uebersax, Senior Manager Strategy and Product Management, Simulation & Training, RUAG MRO International. “Mission success in urban environments is defined by readiness – being prepared for what the confrontation may bring and having the experience to react with precision. Real lives depend on developing these skills.”

Uniquely qualified, Jan Uebersax holds a Master of Science in Defence Simulation & Modelling, has worked for and taught a number of courses for NATO Modelling and Simulation Center of Excellence (NATO M&S CoE). He was also Chairman Simulation for Training & Operation Group, a follow on to his position as Chairman Training Simulation Working Group in NATO. Concurrently, Jan Uebersax fulfilled positions with the Swiss Armed Forces, including Commanding Officer of the 2nd Infantry School.
