Talents Day 2015 - RUAG scouts for new talent

Honing professional skills among young talents is given a very high priority at the international technology group RUAG. At the RUAG Talents Day being held on Saturday 24 October 2015, the RUAG sites at Alpnach, Berne, Emmen, Interlaken, Stans, Thun, Zurich and Zweisimmen will open their doors to anyone interested in training for a career with the group. Lodrino will be holding its Talents Day on 17 October 2015, and the event in Bure will be on 23 October 2015....

RUAG sees training as an investment in the future: professionally competent and motivated employees are key to its success as a business. Since it was founded in 1998, RUAG has been providing hundreds of young trainees each year with comprehensive, practical basic training to the highest quality standards. This is proven by the achievements of the Swiss Selection Team and the many medals won by RUAG's apprentices at the SwissSkills Championships and even the WorldSkills Championships.

At present, about 350 trainees are being trained in Switzerland in 15 vocations. That is equivalent to about 8 percent of RUAG's total headcount in Switzerland. Most of the trainees at RUAG work full-time and are fully focused on this responsible occupation.

RUAG offers comprehensive, practice-oriented basic training in an exciting, high-tech international setting. Since 90 percent of the company's trainers are also examination experts, they can ensure that trainees acquire the specialist knowledge and skills required for the examinations.
