EMC – Electromagnetic Compatibility

Electromagnetic compatibility is the ability of electrical equipment to work satisfactorily in its electromagnetic environment without affecting this environment in an inadmissible way.

We verify the electromagnetic compatibility of equipment and systems of industrial electronics by means of tests.

Test procedures and equipment

  • Frequency range: 10 kHz - 18 GHz
  • Anechoic room: 11.9 x 10.8 x 5.6 m
  • Measuring distance: 1 m - 3 m - 10 m
  • Measurements of radiated and conducted disturbance
  • Radiated and conducted disturbances immunity tests
  • Surge, burst, injection, harmonic currents, flicker

Measurement Engineering

The measurement engineering group deals with the acquisition of customer-specific measuring data from static or dynamic systems.

Material Testing

The material testing laboratory carries out mechanical, non-destructive and metallographic material tests on metals and non-metals. Analyses and tests on synthetic materials and rubber are executed at the laboratory of Spiez.

Environmental Simulation

Our accredited test laboratory performs environmental simulation tests specific to your requirements including the compilation of independent reports. At the same time we are at your R&D's disposal as consultant for a wide range of environmental test methods. As an independent test centre with many years of experience, our testing methods will provide you with competent and complete quality validation in the field of lifetime, operation and reliability.
