Norwegian Lufttransport AS orders Do 228 New Generation

The participation at the Singapore Air Show 2010 is already producing results: Lufttransport AS and RUAG Aviation signed a Sale & Purchase Agreement for one Do 228 NG (New Generation) aircraft on 3 February, 2010

The aircraft will be used for passenger and cargo transport between Longyearbyen and gravel airfields at Svea and Ny Ålesund on the island of Svalbard, Norway. The customers of Lufttransport AS using the Do 228 NG are Store Norske Spitsbergen Kullkompani AS (www.snsk.no) and King Bay AS (www.kingsbay.no). By this Lufttransport AS will become the launch customer for the Do 228 NG in Europe.
