    RUAG hand grenades possibly found in Syria

    It is reported that hand grenades manufactured by RUAG have been found in Syria. Similar cases came to light in 2012 and 2016. These grenades could be from the batch delivered to the United Arab Emirates in 2003/2004, which may well, by way of a breach of contractual warranties, have found their way to Syria. The SECO investigated the incident in 2012, and actions were taken by the Federal Council. RUAG has not supplied any hand grenades to Arab countries since 2003/2004.... More

    International technology group RUAG posted slightly higher net sales of CHF 1,781 million in 2014 compared to the previous year (CHF 1,752 million).
